The effectiveness of Range & Seasonal Planning
& some Quick Wins for Christmas 2020
What you’ll get out of this workshop
The aim is to show you how to put forward a commercial proposition without losing artistic integrity, or your brand’s values & vision and you’ll gain an insight into retail systems & processes that are specific to helping your creative business & independent retail brand.
For this workshop we will home in on range planning & building, how to convince your customers – wholesale & retail – that what you offer is comprehensible by looking at price architecture, entry & exit price points, good better best & how to get the most out of seasonal planning.
We will then delve further into planning with a focus on some quick wins for (what is usually) the biggest trading period in the year, Christmas, introducing a trading & promotional strategy to gain interest & drive sales.
We’ll touch on how to enhance your product offers by suggesting tried & tested ways to boost sales, when to add product & when to clear. By reassessing your ranges & learning a little about how you can trade & plan effectively, you’ll be able to confidently approach a stockist when the time’s right & trade your retail business to optimum effect.
